Discovery Intern | Technology Profile
Join our select group of HubSync interns, and you'll get an inside look at what it's really like to work for a technology organization.
Work you'll do
Interns are expected to adapt to change, and demonstrate leadership qualities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and self-confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and able to work collaboratively.
Throughout the course of internship , interns are assigned to one or more projects where they will receive mentorship and support to help their success. The interns will understand first-hand what a career with HubSync is like and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Work can include some, but not an exhaustive list, is below:
- Market Research: Assist in conducting competitive analysis, user research, and market trends to inform product strategy.
- Product Documentation: Help create and update product requirement documents, user stories, and feature specs.
- Roadmap Assistance: Assist in tracking progress on the product roadmap and ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- User Testing Support: Participate in and help organize user testing for new features or products.
- Competitive Analysis: Help monitor competitor products, pricing, and features to identify potential threats or opportunities.
- Meeting Support: Attend product team meetings, record meeting notes, and follow up on action items.
- Scrum Meetings: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support the product team in tracking progress, addressing blockers, and refining the product backlog.
- Document Processes: Help create and update customer success workflows and playbooks.
- Streamline Operations: Identify and improve inefficiencies in internal processes.
- Support Customer Engagement: Track touchpoints, gather feedback, and assist with follow-ups.
- Manage Data: Update CRM records and analyze key customer success metrics.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with CS, sales, and product teams to enhance customer experience.
- Marketing Assistance – content writing for social media, assistance with CRM systems, and market research.
How you'll grow
Each intern is assigned an executive manager mentor and peer advisor, to help offer guidance throughout the course of the internship. The mentor offers career guidance and feedback. The onboarding advisor is a peer level "buddy" to help answer questions and offer insight into how to make the most of the internship experience. These mentor relationships can carry over into the future and offer a great way to stay connected to HubSync while back at school. Depending on performance and other factors, Discovery interns may have the opportunity to receive a subsequent full time opportunity at HubSync.
Qualifications
- College or Graduate student with an anticipated graduation date of 2025-2026 with definitive plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, engineering, marketing or accounting
- Strong academic performance with extracurricular activities
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred
- GPA of 3.2
- A proven history of collegiate level leadership, such as membership in a campus club or society; strong preference for affiliation with organizations committed to inclusion
